Hi, my name's Clarke and this was me a few years ago....
I grew up in North Wales before completing a degree in Economics and whether it was the drinking culture or regular take-away orders that encapsulated university life, I had never been particularly fit and carried around a a beer belly for years.
In addition to this, most of my friends managed to remain slim which left me with a lack of body confidence that made me feel more comfortable keeping my t-shirt on in the blazing sun rather than expose my "man boobs".
I'd never really known what to do, what to eat, how to train etc, this was until I trawled through countless journals and articles and began to experiment with different nutrition and training techniques. I then started an intense job working regular 70+ hour weeks which disintegrated any fantasies of after work gym sessions, it was at this point I developed the 1 Hour Gauntlet.
Having experienced a personal transformation, I'm hoping to share what I've learnt with as many people as possible. We all know how things can pop up in life and for many of us, fitness slips to the bottom of our priorities, but whether you've got an extremely busy job, or find your time taken up with family and social commitments, simply implementing small changes in what you eat, with working out for at least 1 hour a week, can give you incredible results, make you feel like an athlete whilst drastically improving your body confidence.
